Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At  Brahmin's Kitchen, we take pride in delivering exceptional food and service. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair as possible when handling cancellations and refunds. Please note we would have declined other orders because of your catering order, we will do our best to refund on a case-case basis. 

Refund Policy - the basics

1. Event Cancellation

  • Full Refund:
    If you cancel [7 or more days] before the event date, we will refund your deposit/payment in full.

  • Partial Refund:
    If you cancel between [2 to 4 days] before the event date, we will refund 50% of the total payment.

  • No Refund:
    Cancellations made less than [72 hours] before the event will not be eligible for a refund.

2. Order Changes

  • If you reduce the guest count or menu items [more than 3 days] before the event, any overpayments will be adjusted or refunded.

  • Last-minute reductions (less than 24 hours notice) may not qualify for a refund, as preparations may have already been made.

3. Service Issues

  • If you are dissatisfied with any part of our service, please notify us immediately at the event or within 24 hours after the event.

  • We will review concerns on a case-by-case basis and may offer a partial refund or discount for future services if appropriate.

4. Force Majeure

In cases of events beyond our control (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with you to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, refunds will be issued based on the timeline and expenses incurred.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Customized orders ( custom menus) may not be fully refundable if preparation work has already begun.

  • Any third-party vendor charges arranged through us (e.g., rentals, décor) are subject to their individual refund policies.

What to include in the Refund Policy

Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.
